Working and living here in Northern France we are surrounded by friends and colleagues who are for the most part engaged in either growing or rearing. Agriculture in one form or another is the bedrock of the Pas-de Calais region. As the squeeze continues to pressure small farmers into either giving up or getting Big, there are more skilled operators looking for ways to diversify or make more of what they already do.
