Judith and Nick Gifford  were film-makers in the England before they tumbled into jam. Nick had an international reputation both as a cameraman and as a producer-director of his own documentary films. Judith made documentaries about the visual arts for her company Landseer Films. A series of life-changing dramas landed them in the north of France village of St Remy au Bois. There, to their astonishment, they turned into jam makers and are the proud owners of the only marmalade factory in France.
